Feminism: The person who believes in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes.
Sounds pretty uncomplicated, right ? That was it, until the movement was hijacked and driven away from equity feminism to gender feminism. Gender feminists (not equity feminists) are 1: Angry lesbians.
2. Spinsters who wasted their youthful days shunning good men while chasing the elusive Mr. Perfect
3. Morally deranged tarts who don’t want to be told that a woman has the wherewithal to be more than a slimy hole carrier that glides a phallus for peanuts.
4. Acerbic women who were hurt by one idiot and have swore an entire gender must pay. Do your research.
Feminism in its contemporary nuances has turned women into wretched creatures at war with everything and everybody. First wave feminism was where it started, and second wave feminism only made it better. But the stench of the third and fourth wave feminisms nauseating.
Nowadays feminism is basically misandry. You have privileged, mostly middle class, entitled, angry women , overweight millennials bitching and moaning about “patriarchy”
In the 1900s, feminists or like they were known- the suffragettes- fought for the right to vote. In 2020, women are fighting for the right to pee while standing like men. Their quests have increasingly become misguided, fallacious and outrageous balderdash.
Men and women are not equal. And that is why instead of seeking equality, we should be seeking equity. Some would wonder, what the hell is the difference. To properly elucidate the difference, one must comprehend what is inequality because we would not be having a conversation on equality or equity if there was no inequality.
What then is inequality. Simply defined, it is unequal access to opportunities.
Equality is to evenly distributing these opportunities while Equity is to customize tools that identify and address inequality. The difference between equality and equity must be emphasized. Although both promote fairness, equality achieves this through treating everyone the same regardless of need, while equity achieves this through treating people differently dependent on need.
However, this different treatment may be the key to reaching equality. Gender equity refers to treating men and women fairly based on their respective needs- differently yet fairly.
Yes, we get that you and your man broke up, and you have the new mindset that “men ain’t shit” so you just decided to say and love yourself more given all the shit he put you through- that’s cool.
But, just because he cheated on you with your best friend, and always talked shit about you to his friends, doesn’t mean that all men are that way. Not all men deserve to have your wrath taken out on them. If you believe in feminism because he was a piece of shit human, and think you can find comfort in talking shit about him with other “feminist” please speak to a therapist instead.
Using feminism as a way to disrespect an entire gender is no better than being a misogynist.
Men are more disadvantaged in life but don’t sell their penises or send nudes then play victims. But these feminists are also intellectually lazy, shallow thinkers, belligerent tarts who find thinking tedious.
In Kenya, 44% of population in jail are men. Women are only 6%. When they want equality, you want equal number of women in jail? Men do the toughest jobs, like working at construction sites , cart pushing, mechanics. Bigger percentage of the homeless and chokoraas are men.
Most of those who commit suicide are men … Do you want to equalize this too?
If you believe that you have the right to mentally berate a man, as well as physically assault him, and he can’t do the same to you, or even defend himself- get the fuck off my blog.
I am sick and tired of female aggressors playing the victim card and using other feminist to back their actions. Men get assaulted too. Women are not the only victims in these scenarios. Remember that part about equality and NOT man hating? When are feminists going to start accepting male victims of violence and assault and giving them a safe place away from gender stereotypes to communicate the wrongdoings that they have encountered from female counterparts?
To sum up my frustration, I am sick and tired of watching lazy middle class women preach feminism when they refuse to stand up for the people who need feminism the most. If you feel that this is targeting you, feel free to create an open dialogue within your heart to change yourself.
